FixCarIQ Terms of Use
FixCarIQ helps Nigerian car owners prepare for workshop visits with diagnosis briefs, likely causes, recommended checks, scanner records, DIY guidance, and mechanic booking support.
These terms are a production-ready operating draft for launch preparation, not a substitute for legal advice. Have Nigerian counsel review the final version before public release, especially subscription, consumer-protection, data-protection, and liability wording.
FixCarIQ is not a replacement for a qualified mechanic, physical inspection, road test, or manufacturer service procedure. Do not drive a vehicle that feels unsafe, overheats, loses braking power, leaks fuel, smokes heavily, or shows critical warning signs.
FixCarIQ is not emergency advice. Stop driving and get urgent help if the car overheats, loses braking, leaks fuel, smells burnt, smokes heavily, or warning lights flash.
Pro subscriptions unlock deeper reports, scanner history, and more vehicle files. Web subscriptions may be paid through Paystack. Subscriptions purchased inside the iOS or Android app must use the App Store or Google Play billing system where required by store policy. Fleet pricing is custom and starts from 6 vehicles.
Mechanic booking support helps organize requests and follow-up. FixCarIQ does not guarantee mechanic availability, price, parts quality, warranty, or repair outcome.
Users are responsible for entering accurate vehicle information, confirming scanner readings, keeping account credentials secure, and seeking professional help when a vehicle may be unsafe. FixCarIQ may suspend accounts, support requests, or marketplace access where fraud, abuse, unsafe conduct, or unauthorized use is suspected.
Verified mechanic listings, when launched, mean FixCarIQ has completed internal checks recorded by staff. They do not guarantee every repair outcome, parts quality, price, warranty, or workshop availability.
